Hey Peoples

Hey guys. Sorry for not blogging as much. But now I will do one at least every week. I dont get the computer much because of school. School is going great. My teacher is so cool and she makes learning fun! She is my favorite teacher through the 6 years i was at James A. Dever. Homework. My class gets 1 or 2 peices of homework a day. I am so happy!

At recess i play baseball. I am still seeking my first homerun of my career. But I doubt i will get it. Well I will still cross my fingers.

Yankees vs Blue Jays game

On Sunday the 31 of August I went to the Yankees game. My dad, My mom, and I sat in the luxuary seats. The food and ice cream was free. We were VIP’s. And it was at the side of home plate so we had a great view. Except we lost . i wanted a win but i was like homerun derby for them. They hit like like 5 homers in that game. Arod hit a homer and I got a picture of the exact ball coming before hitting a homer and a picture of Derek Jeter after the homerun in the dugout. But it was on the tv. HAHA! Anyway we lost 6-2 and here are the pics that I took.

My trip to the Aquarium

Today I went to the New York Aquarium. I went with my brother Jake, My grandpa, and my cousin Shane.

When we got there we saw really flat fishes. They went round and round and round a couple of times. Then we saw the walrus. They came up to us and put his stomach on the glass. The walrus was doing backstrokes and it had a baby. The baby was stuck behind a rock that was on the glass but he or she got out. Then we went to the sharks. They looked me in the eyes like they were mad at me. We also saw stingrays that were really BIG. We took a lot of pictures of the animals.

 Then we all ate. Shane, Jake and I had pizza. My grandpa had chicken ceaser salad. Then we saw a otter show. His name was Osborne. He did lots of funny stuff like putting his hand up over the water like a shark. He was also slapping the trainers butt.

Then we went to the touching pool. Thats where you can touch the animals. I touched the hermit crab’s mouth. It felt like a toothbrush but it didn’t bite.

Then we wnt home. Jake fell asleep in the car. Then he woke up like 10 minutes until we get home. Well i had a good time at the aquarium.

Michael Phelps reaches his goal

Michael Phelps goal was to win 8 gold medals in swimming. He reached 7. Now its time for number 8. So he swam and cane and first then Aaron Peirsol swims after him. Its a very close race. Peirsol touches the wall to get in first! Michael Phelps gets his 8th gold medal this year! It was a grEIGHT race! His mom and sister was crying! Everyone in the crowd was screaming. I was at my cousins house and everyone was cheering for him. “C’mon Phelps c’mon Phelps”. I was screaming to. He is my favorite swimmer. CONGRATS PHELPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

10:30-Womens swimming USA again comes in first 2 in a row!

all star game

Canada

From July 4th to July 12th me  and my family went to Canada. We went to a cottage for 2 days. We went fishing, swimming, on a boat ride, climbing, and much more. Swimming was the best. We had the whole pool to ourselves. Fishing was really boring. No fish will bite. The boat ride was the best! it went soooooo fast, like 45 miles per hour. Bobby Murcer

On July 12th, 2008, broadcaster for the New York Yankees, Bobby Murcer died.

I was on a flight back to New York from Buffalo and I was watching ESPN. Then this picture shows up and it  the Bobby Murcer dead at age 62. I told my dad he died and we were both like “are you kidding me?” I saw Joe Girardi and Derek Jeter crying and I almost cried because he was so much fun in the booth with Michael Kay and Ken SIngleton and much more.
